Jim Martin-Athletic Director

Jim Martin is in his fifth year as the Athletic Director. He taught for 10 years and has been an Athletic Director for 17 years. While at Cardinal Ritter, Jim has developed the already existing athletic program and improved coaches and facilities with a focus on Christian character taught in our Catholic values. Jim grew up in west-central Indiana, graduating from Rosedale High School, where he earned varsity letters in Cross Country, Basketball, Baseball, and Track and Field. He graduated with a B.S. from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN, while earning varsity letters in Track and Field. He also received his M.S. degree from Indiana University.

John Roach-Assistant Athletic Director

John Roach is beginning his fifth year as Assistant Athletic Director. After graduating from Purcell High School in Cincinnati, John served in the United States Marines for seven years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. While in the Marines, he graduated from the Armed Forces Journalist School. In 1977, John earned his B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Indiana Central College. John worked for 26 years for United Parcel Service before retiring in February 2003.
