Cardinal Ritter High School has a rich tradition of serving the needs of the distinct community of Indianapolis. We are committed to meeting the diverse academic, spiritual, social, and physical needs of each and every student. Our mission is rooted in the beliefs of our namesake, Cardinal Joseph E. Ritter, the first Archbishop of Indianapolis, who was a passionate believer in social justice and equality. We work hard and diligently each day to live out the principles of his life and are proud to carry on the work of this dedicated servant of our Church.
Our institution is committed to helping students reach their academic, spiritual, social, and physical potential by providing instruction that challenges each of our students in an environment that is rooted in the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic faith. Our expectations are high in each of the domains of our mission. We strive daily to instill in our students a sense of self-discipline and self-worth through a challenging curriculum and passion for teaching.
