STEP 1 - APPLY
Complete and return the application for admission with all requested information to Cardinal Ritter Junior/Senior High School before January 31, 2014. Applications received before this deadline will be placed in a preferred admissions category, and for those applying for financial aid, placed in the first pool for financial aid distribution. The application is to the right under 'Important Documents' or you can CLICK HERE. To send this online application to our Admissions Director,
follow these steps:
1. Fill out the application
2. Click 'Submit' in the top right corner
3. Click 'Send'
4. Under 'Select Email Client', choose Internet Email and click 'OK'
5. Save your complete application as "STUDENT'S LAST NAME_Application"
6. Attach and email your application along with the other admissions documents
(listed on the application) to Vince Purichia at firstname.lastname@example.org
STEP 2 - TAKE THE PLACEMENT TEST
All students entering 9th grade must take a placement test before receiving admission to Cardinal Ritter High School. Students applying for admission to our junior high must follow the admission process, but do not take the placement test. Eligibility for scholarships given by our Parent Club is based only on results from the placement test given by Cardinal Ritter.
STEP 3 - ACCEPTANCE
Once you have completed the application process and provided the school with all needed data for acceptance and placement, your application will be reviewed, and you will receive a decision letter in early February. An acceptance package will include a letter from the principal along with materials and information regarding Pre-Registration/Curriculum Night. It is important to attend this meeting in order to set a registration appointment with our guidance department, receive details about course offerings and curriculum, and obtain a financial aid application.
