I am sure your student has told you that we have no heat in the building. We had to replace 86 boiler tubes! We are in the process of finishing up, so hopefully by the end of this week we should have heat and be nice and cozy.

The halls of Cardinal Ritter were full of ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheroes and more at this year’s CRHS Haunted Hallways. Students from West Deanery schools got to Trick or Treat and Mrs. Hoy read the story of “There was an old lady who swallowed a bat”. Special guest Batman and Spiderman stopped by for a quick visit as they were busy chasing the Joker.

Our annual Choral Festival for the West Deanery will take place at Cardinal Ritter High School on December 9, from 9:00am-12:30pm. This is for all students who love to sing in grades 5-8. Students will have the opportunity to sing with students from all over the deanery and perform in a Christmas Program. Use the links below to download and print the registration form. 20 extremely friendly and mature Raiders went to the Little Sisters of the Poor, which is an elderly home for the poor on 86th street. They decorated their home for fall, chatted with residents, and sang songs with them. The kids were begging to go back! We were so proud of them!
This week the Cardinal Ritter Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 27 new members and installed officers for the 2023-2024 school year. Congratulations Raiders!
The Cardinals of St. Christopher Catholic School invaded the halls of CRHS as they caught a glimpse into what high school will be like for them.
It was great having St. Malachy Shamrock Mary Buck in the hallways at Cardinal Ritter. Mary was shadowing today, and we hope to see her next year here as a Raider.

2023 CRHS Runathon
The annual Runathon is one of Cardinal Ritter’s longest-standing traditions. Students hit the pavement walking/jogging almost 3 miles for Cardinal Ritter’s only student-driven fundraiser of the year with a field day immediately following.
CR held it's first STEM Townhall today with guest speaker Dr. Juanita Limas, a Research Scientist in Molecular Pharmacology at Eli Lilly and Co. Raiders were able to engage with Dr. Limas to learn about her job, the path she took and other interests that she has as a scientist.
The Runathon is 2 days away! We don’t want anyone to miss out on the fun that we will be having on Friday. Along with the Run/Walk through the CRHS neighborhood, there will be a dunk tank to dunk your favorite teacher/staff person, an obstacle course, and Zorb balls. We will also have Ritter’s Frozen Custard available for an extra purchase. Please turn in those packets tomorrow morning before school!
The Lady Raiders wrapped up their season Monday at Sectionals at Pebble Brook GC by finishing in 6th place with a 441. Four Seniors played their final High School round today; Bayleigh Cottrell (111), Julie Rocca (112), Bella Basso (118), and Greta Fallon (122). Junior Peyton Roddy led the Raider scoring with 100.
Although the season is over, these ladies made some great memories on the golf course. Many more highs than lows this season.
